Innovation and creativity - workshops and talks
Innovation has become a worn-out term in the media landscape.
This is unfortunate, because our ability to think and create something novel is increasingly important
to our success and survival.
Some say that the ability to innovate is no longer adequate in the western world. If this is true, it
is primarily because of an errornous assumption:
We assume that people and businesses are naturally good at being innovative, but this is wrong!
Most people and organisations have a large
potential for innovation, but it will not surface unless we work
on culture, processes and tools.
The good news is that though innovation is hard work, it really isn't that complicated to become better at it.
Jensen Upside Down helps businesses lead and manage innovation. Typical topics are:
Innovation strategy Upside Down
What are the requirements of different types of innovation and how do we create a culture of innovation?
Idea workshop Upside Down
How do we solve a known challenge in a novel way? Are there effective tools for managing an innovation process
and kickstarting the flow of ideas?
You can also use Jensen Upside Down as a creative sparring partner or concept developer on highly innovative projects.

Why creativity and innovation?
Jensen Upside Down strongly believes that we become happier, more productive
and more succesfull when we engage our creative and innovative skills - that goes for both people
and businesses!
"The good life" (again: both people and businesses) is ultimately about finding the balance between
development and repetition of the known. Repetition is immensely easy for us, as opposed to development, which
tends to become harder as time goes by. This is why everyone should be interested in exploring creativity
and innovation.
About Jensen Upside Down
Jensen Upside Down is owned and run by Morten Dall. Morten first became interested in innovation and creative
processes in 1999, where he participated in an ideation project and became baffled by just how shakingly we
handle concepts as important as innovation and creativity.
This bafflement became the starting point of an ongoing journey to better understand the inner workings of
innovation - driven by a desire to always improve and create a positive development.
The name 'Jensen Upside Down' reflects an important part the creative soul: taking something well-known
('Jensen' is a common name in Denmark) and seeing it from a different angle or combining it with something
unexpected.
Besides; it is probably healthy for Jensen to stand upside down once in a while...
Jensen Upside Down started giving talks and facilitating workshops in 2003 and has since worked for a number
of businesses and organisations. You will find a selection at the center of this page.
Morten Dall is also driven to create and spends time as concept developer etc. on highly innovative projects.
The projects often involve digital media, which is probably no conincidence,
as Morten has a Master's Degree in Digital Media.
